I have been caught before ordering a size down and finding the shoe too narrow so as it is a laceup I ordered a size six I am normally 5 and glad I did as the shoe is just the right width. But the left foot is a bit long so a bit of empty space in the toe. Having said that the shoes are very comfortable to wear shopping etc. At £39.99 the leather is what you would expect

I read the advice about the half size and order down and I did but it was too narrow and my foot was hanging over the edge. Ordered red but it was really a chestnut colour, also a bit difficult to get on as there are no buckles so you have to pull the heel strap to put it on.

Not sure I could wear these for a long period I feel a bit unstable, my foot tends to fall over the side. I bought a size 5 maybe I should have tried a larger size.

I wore these walking up and down hills and along the beach in St Ives and they worked well everywhere. Very light and comfortable, bought the size up so fitted well with a lace up. Just ordered another pair.
