Good, but not quite good enough
I too bought these for UK summer festivals, which tend to get VERY muddy. I bought them as the calf is big enough for my (not too!) chunky legs and they are beautifully light, as well as being a bit different from the wellies that everyone else wears. Unfortunately the grip/tread on the bottom of the boot is virtually non-existent, and I was sliding around in the mud A LOT more than everyone else. Really disappointing as I like the other aspects of this boot. They would be perfect for mooching around town in the rain, just not in extreme mud!
